Biography

I am the Access Librarian at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies in London. I am responsible for running the information skills training programme, managing the reference desk, promoting the Library to PhD researchers, updating the online research guides, and other tasks based around helping people get the most out of the collections. I previously worked as an Information Officer at Norton Rose (before they added the Fulbright) where I answered legal and business enquiries, provided a current awareness service, gave induction training and looked after the serials collection. My first professional position was at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, where I fell in love with library work.

Interesting fact/skill: I can speak Swedish and I can hula hoop. Neither skill has been particularly useful in my career to date. I know more about OSCOLA than I ever thought possible.
